Data Residency

What does this page cover?
This page explains where Spekir stores your data, which sub-processors handle data on our behalf, and what that means for your organisation's data requirements.
Primary data storage
All Atlas data — including your IT portfolio, strategy documents, and user profiles — is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon in Frankfurt, Germany (AWS eu-central-1). Data does not leave this region during normal operation.
Application hosting
The Atlas application runs on Vercel with compute in the Frankfurt region (fra1). Static assets are delivered via Vercel's global CDN, but contain no personal data or customer-specific content.
AI processing
Specific Atlas features — such as strategy parsing and capability analysis — send excerpts of your own data to the Anthropic API for processing. Anthropic does not retain API data and does not use it to train models. The output is then stored in your EU database. See our AI and data page for details.
